A dietitian is an expert in dietetics; that is, human nutrition and the regulation of diet. A dietitian alters their patient's nutrition based upon their medical condition and individual needs. Dietitians are regulated healthcare professionals licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional problems.

Cara Duvenage is a Registered Dietitian and South African Certified Lactation Consultant. She is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals to achieve a healthy, balanced lifestyle tailored to their unique needs. Through continuous education in both dietetics and lactation, she strives to provide the best possible support and guidance for her patients.

 

Cara is passionate about helping and educating people on nutrition and individualized approaches to improve health outcomes. In addition to her core services, she is an Optiway, Geneway, and DNAlysis test practitioner, which allows for personalized nutritional and health advice based on genetic analysis. She also provides corporate wellness programs, helping organizations foster a healthier, more productive workforce.
